How to Arrange Transportation with Your Insurance Company for Medical Appointments

All Managed Medicaid Insurance Providers provide transportation to and from medical and dental appointments. Below are instructions on how to plan transportation with your insurance company.

  • Aetna Better Health

    • Call (866) 329-4701 choose option number 2 and then option 1
    • Call Aetna 2 days before your appointment to arrange for a ride. They will pick you up and bring you back home after your appointment.
    • Give Aetna your Medicaid ID Number. Your Medicaid ID number is
    • Give Aetna your appointment date, time and the location of your appointment.

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield Transportation

    • Call (877) 831-3148 and choose option number 1.
    • Enter your Medicaid ID number and ask for transportation. Your Medicaid ID number is
    • Call Blue Cross Blue Shield 2 days before your appointment to arrange for a ride. They will pick you up and bring you back home after your appointment.
    • Give Blue Cross Blue Shield your appointment date, time and the location of your appointment.

  • County Care Transportation

    • Call (630) 403-3210 choose option number 4, then press 5 for transportation.
    • Call County Care 3 days before your appointment to arrange for a ride. They will pick you up and bring you back home after your appointment.
    • Give County Care your Medicaid ID number. Your Medicaid ID number is
    • Give County Care your appointment date, time and the location of your appointment.

  • Meridian

    • Call (844) 299-6238 and stay on the phone.
    • Call Meridian 2 days before your appointment to arrange for a ride. They will pick you up and bring you back home after ycur appointment.
    • Give Meridian your Medicaid ID Number. Your Medicaid ID number is
    • Give Meridian the date, time and the location of your appointment. Also give them the name of your Doctor.

  • Molina Health Transportation

    • Call (844) 644-6354
    • Call Molina 3 days before your appointment to arrange for a ride. They will pick you up and bring you back home after your appointment.
    • Give Molina your Medicaid ID Number. Your Medicaid ID number is
    • Give Molina the date, time and the location of your appointment. Also give them the name of your Doctor.
